Court WorkScore tryouts on your coaches' phones
Families sign up from a link you post. In the gym, each coach scores players on their phone. When you've placed everyone, you send the team offers from your computer or phone.
How it works
Post the sign-up link
Put the link on your website, in a group text or on a flyer. Parents sign up on the web or in the app, and pay the tryout fee if you charge one. You see each sign-up as it comes in, and how many places are left.
Coaches score each skill in the gym
Players check in and get a tryout number. Each coach scores the skills your club chose, like shooting and defense, from 1 to 5 on their own phone. Nobody types the scores up afterwards.
Place players on teams
You see every coach's scores for a player side by side, with the average. Put each player on a team, and the count of open places goes down as you go.
Send the offers
Each offer goes out by email and in the app. It names the team, the coach and the season, and the date to answer by. Families answer yes or no in the app or on the web.
See who said yes
Each team's offers show as accepted, waiting or declined. When a family says no, offer the place to the next player. Families whose child didn't get a place get a note from you.
Questions
What if the gym has no signal?
Coaches keep scoring. Their phones save the scores and send them when they have signal again.
Do families see the scores?
No. Only your club's staff see tryout scores. Families see their offer, or your note if there's no place this time.
Can we charge a tryout fee?
Yes. Families pay when they sign up, by card, Apple Pay or bank account, and the money goes to your club's bank. There's a payment processing fee, and you decide whether your club covers it.
Do families need the app to sign up?
No. They can sign up on the web from your link, with a code we email them, and answer their offer the same way.
How long are tryout scores kept?
We delete them 30 days after the season starts.
